- Synopsis: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to solicit a firm-fixed-price commercial services contract for Elevator Maintenance Services at The Dalles Lock and Dam in Wasco County, Oregon. This is a non-personal, services contract to provide full maintenance services for The Dalles Dam elevators. The Contractor shall provide all services, repairs, inspections, and testing necessary to maintain all elevators and escalators, appurtenances, and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime. This contract duration is intended to be a base year plus two option years. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be: Base Year: 01 February 2018 through 31 January 2019 Option Year 1: 01 February 2019 through 31 January 2020 Option Year 2: 01 February 2020 through 31 January 2021 This acquisition is intended to be Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this effort is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, which has a small business size standard of $7,500,000. The Product Service Code (PSC) applicable to this effort J089 - Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Subsistence. Evaluation criteria will be stated in the solicitation. This acquisition will result in a single firm-fixed-price commercial services contract. Proposal Period: The solicitation is scheduled for release on or after 1 December 2017. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is on or after 2 January 2017. Due to the commercial nature of the services, the publicizing and response time will be set to afford potential offers a reasonable opportunity to respond in accordance with FAR subpart 5.203. Offerors must be registered in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to receiving an award.
