- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term contract for FSC 1620 Aircraft Steering Unit. A total of 1 NSN is targeted for this contract effort. This solicitation is to result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 1620-014664470. The proposed contract will be for a total 5 year period of performance. This is a FAR 15 effort. The below NSN has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. NSN 1620-014664470 AIRCRAFT STEERING UNIT Estimated Annual Demand-206 each Minimum Order Quantity- 52 each Maximum Order Quantity- 206 each Maximum Contract Quantity-1245 each This Solicitation is set aside for small businesses The approved sources of supply are as follows: Safran Landing Systems Canada Inc (CAGE 35962) P/N: 74A450783-1001 The Boeing Company (CAGE 76301) P/N: 74A450783-1001 Nassau Tool Works Inc. (CAGE 2M490) P/N: 74A450783-1001 Apex Manufacturing Company (CAGE 2V343) P/N: 74A450783-1001 FOB: Destination I/A: Origin This is a Critical Application Item and Export Control restrictions apply. Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) and Contractor Production Lot Testing apply (PLT) as well. Delivery is 376 days for the First Article Report, 45 days for Government Review and Notification, 300 days for the Production Quantity/PLT, 60 days for Lot Evaluation and Notification, and 30 Days for Delivery of Production Quantity to the Government. The total delivery is 811 days ARO. SURGE is not required for this procurement. Ship to will be CONUS stock locations, as specified on the Delivery Order. Best value selection methods will be used. Pricing will be evaluated using the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD). The solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP.
