- This is a pre-solicitation notice only, being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 - pre-solicitation notices. The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the scope of the Fuel Flow Meter Calibration and Maintenance requirement. A solicitation is not currently provided and proposals are not required at this time. Location: Primarily Bagram Airfield Afghanistan Scope: This is a non-personal services requirement to provide fuel flow meter calibration and maintenance services to various types of fuel flow meters in support of US Forces in Afghanistan. The prospective contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform fuel flow calibration and maintenance for meters located throughout Afghanistan. Acquisition: This acquisition will be solicited competitively and unrestricted Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Period of Performance: The anticipated Period of Performance is a base period 4 March 2018 through 3 March 2019 and four(4) one year option periods 4 March 2019 through 3 March 2023. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be released on or around 13 December 2017 on https://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will specify the actual date and time for offerors to submit a proposal. If there is a delay in the release of the solicitation, a notice will be posted on https://www.fbo.gov. Please be advised, telephone inquiries will not be considered for this pre-solicitation notice.
