- Physical support branch, Dredge Goetz, requests to purchase the following items as spare and replacement parts for the Dredge Goetz main pump. Application: High abrasion low impact The Dredge Goetz is a 20” cutter head suction dredge that maintains the navigation channel on the Mississippi river. The primary material dredged is sand with occasional rocks. In a typical dredging season the Goetz pumps between 750,000 and 1,000,000 cubic yards of sand. SUCTION SIDE LINER TO FIT VOSTA LMG HPD550 PUMP. CAST, HEAT TREATED AND FULLY MACHINED. ALLOY ASTM A532 CLASS III-A, HC28 SHALL MEET OR EXCEED 600 BRINELL MINIMUM HARDNESS. APPROXIMATE WEIGHT EACH, 1,800 LBS. ENGINE SIDE LINER TO FIT VOSTA LMG HPD550 PUMP. CAST, HEAT TREATED AND FULLY MACHINED. ALLOY ASTM A532 CLASS III-A, HC28 SHALL MEET OR EXCEED 600 BRINELL MINIMUM HARDNESS. APPROXIMATE WEIGHT EACH, 1,900 LBS. PUMP SHELL CASING TO FIT VOSTA LMG HPD550 PUMP, 19" X 54", CAST, HEAT TREATED AND FULLY MACHINED. ALLOY ASTM A532 CLASS -D,NH4; SHALL MEET OR EXCEED 600 BRINELL MIN MUM HARDNESS. APPROXIMATE WEIGHT EACH, 10,400 LBS. ALL Parts shall be painted with a primer, at a minimum to prevent rusting, with the exception of machined surfaces Due to the extended delivery time it is necessary to maintain a spare part inventory for the main dredge pump on the Dredge Goetz. The parts shall be brand name or equal to the Vosta parts (direct replacements of originals) listed above. The Government does not have access to the Vosta drawing for these parts but new parts are available at the Fountain City location. Interested vendors can make arrangement for a site visit to look at the parts we have on hand, however this shall be at the vendors own expense, and with prior arrangements made to access the parts. Pictures are available for examination as well. After contract award the vendor shall be allowed to transport the new parts to their facility to be reverse engineered/duplicated. Manufactured parts shall, at a minimum, meet the Brinell hardness of the Vosta parts. Vendor shall be responsible for all costs associated with the duplication of the parts to include all shipping charges, to include shipping of the Government owned spares to your facility to be reverse engineered/duplicated and the shipping of the Government owned spare parts back to the Government facility. Government owned parts shall be returned to the Governments facility in Fountain City within 30 days. Quoted price shall include shipping of the new spare parts to the Government facility listed below. The new parts shall be delivered to the Government facility in Fountain City WI no later than 22 weeks after award of the contract.
