- Sources Sought Synposis for Female and Male Accommodation Study This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) only. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Human Systems Program Office (AFLCMC/WNU) is conducting a market assessment to identify potential sources and companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience pertaining to United States Air Force (USAF) ejection seats and Aircrew Flight Equipment to respond to the requirements listed in this document. AFLCMC/WNU is issuing this SSS to outline the potential requirement to conduct a Female and Male Accommodation and Comfort Study for legacy fighter and bomber aircraft. The study shall consist of a report that identifies potential solutions for PCU-15/16 harness improvement or replacement, bladder relief improvement or development (including accommodations for female pilot menstruation). The study should also address access to allow collection of breast milk while wearing the Aircrew Flight Equipment. The Government is issuing this SSS solely for information and planning purposes. The Government will consider responses to determine the acquisition strategy for conducting the study of ejection seats.
