- This request for information (RFI) is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. DESCRIPTION: The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to issue the contract action (N00019-18-RFPREQ-JSF000-0194) in support of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE) Radio Frequency Environment contract. SUPPLIES AND SERVICES: The Radio Frequency (RF) environment stimulated will include coherent radar and electronic warfare signals for inclusion into F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE) laboratories. Specifically, the environment stimulation will include hardware and software that is compatible with the Radar and EW subsystems from the F-35 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) equipment. This equipment shall be tested against OEM equipment that must be available from the manufacturer. USG provided equipment is not available for this effort. In addition to hardware and software, digital models of susceptibility, and high fidelity F-35 OEM Radar models will need to be delivered. SCHEDULE: The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded no later than 31 Aug 2018, with a period of performance extending through 2022. Any firms believing that they can perform the effort described above related to the F-35 Lightning II Air System may submit a written capability statement to be received at the Contracting Office no later than response date indicated on this notice.
