- This request for information (RFI) is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. DESCRIPTION: The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to issue the contract action (N00019-18-RFPREQ-JSF000-0197) in support of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE) OPANA integration contract. SUPPLIES AND SERVICES: The services will include software integration of multiple F-35 software products to be compatible with the OPANA software develop environment. Specifically, the software developers will co-write code, support government requirements for interoperability between systems and OPANA, and build automated test scenarios to support the agile software development process. Software developers will be required to have access to OPANA source code, architecture documentation, and interface documentation. SCHEDULE: The proposed order is anticipated to be awarded no later than 28 May 2018, with a period of performance extending through 2020. Any firms believing that they can perform the effort described above related to the F-35 Lightning II Air System may submit a written capability statement to be received at the Contracting Office no later than response date indicated on this notice.
