Description

This action was previously W31P4Q-17-R-0049. The Government anticipates award of a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), contract to procure Avenger Fire Control Computers (AFCCs) to support the Avenger Weapon System. The estimated Period of Performance will be 30 Mar 2018 through 30 May 2020. This Sources Sought Announcement was previously issued under W31P4Q-17-R-0049 The Government anticipates this effort to be awarded on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company (Boeing), 499 Boeing Boulevard, P.O. Box 240002, Huntsville, AL 35813-6402, CAGE Code 3A768. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (B); however, all responsible sources may submit capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. Boeing is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the AFFCs and currently prime contractor for the Avenger Weapon System for the United States Government. Boeing is the only qualified source for the AFCCs. Boeing has the required technical capabilities and knowledge to meet the Army's needs. A technical data package for the AFCCs is not available at this time.
