Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation- Tractors for LSCVAMC This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation, 36C25018Q0155, is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333112, with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. The proposed contract listed here is Set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Offerors shall be listed as "verified" in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ at the time of submission of the offer and before award. Unverified firms will be considered non responsive and ineligible for award. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Statement of Work (SOW) for Compact Utility Tractors 1. Objective: The Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSVAMC), Cleveland OH, is in need of procuring two (2) compact utility tractors (CUT) fully equipped with safety devices and enclosed heated cabs, and front mounted blades. In addition to the CUTs, one (1) loader bucket and one (1) quick hitch rotary broom with mounting hard is needed. Both CUTs shall include an option to purchase a minimum of a two (2) year warranty above and beyond the manufacturer warranty. The CUTs will be used to maintain LSCVAMC facility wide grounds keeping and landscaping to include snow plowing and sidewalk safety salting. 2. Equipment Requirements: NOTE: Only new equipment will be accepted; refurbished equipment will not be accepted. CLIN: 0001- (2 EA) Compact Utility Tractors: h. 24 PTO power minimum, Gear 4 WD (four-wheel drive) CLIN: 0002- (1 EA) Loader Bucket with mounting hardware CLIN: 0003 (1 EA) Rotary Broom with mounting hardware CLIN: 0004 (2 EA) Extended Warranty: Both CUTs shall include a powertrain warranty, with an option to extend the warranty two (2) years above and beyond the OEM warranty. Warranty service shall be performed by the manufacturer without any charge to the Government for parts and labor. 4. Training: Contractor shall provide initial operation training to Government. 5. Assembly: CUTs shall arrive fully assembled, and ready for operation. 6. Freight: Destination fob preferred. ** OPTIONAL- Please provide pricing data for implements, specifically rotary spreaders and drop spreaders** The Contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The contractor shall provide new items ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
