- Pre - Solicitation/Special Notice Multifunction Devices (MFDs) Managed Print and Associated Professional Services W912BV18Q0013 This is a notice of intent that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Tulsa District (SWT) intends award a sole source commercial service purchase order to RICOH USA, Inc. for a follow-on contract for the lease and maintenance of 105 Multi-Function Devices (MFDs), which perform the following functions: Printing, scanning, copying and faxing. The MFDs are used throughout SWT to carry out day-to-day administrative functions in support of USACE SWT's Mission. Currently, SWT is in possession of 105 MFDs (the Existing MFDs) which include the following devices: 9 RICOH Level 1Black & White MP 4002, 6 RICOH Level 2 Black & White MP 4002, 4 RICOH Level 3 Black & White MP 5002, 4 RICOH Level 4 MP 6002, 15 RICOH Level 1 Color MPC 3003G, 12 RICOH Level 2 Color MPC 3003G, 15 RICOH Level 3 Color MPC 4503G, 36 RICOH Level 4 Color 5503G. SWT's requirement includes: an approximately 31-month extension of the lease for the Existing MFDs and includes maintenance service (i.e. parts, labor and toner). The Federal Acquisition Regulation allows for the submission of capability statements from prospective offerors to show interest which shall be considered by the Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This is not a request for capability statements or quotes. However, the Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will consider any capability statements or quotes submitted by all responsible sources. Depending on the evaluation result of the capability statements, the Contracting Officer will determine whether this sole source action is justified or a solicitation should be issued to interested firms. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary.
