Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Airport Security Infrastructure Project NOTE: This REQUIREMENT is 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE BACKGROUND: In support of the U. S. and Mexican security objectives in Mexico, the Bureau of International Security Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL)/ Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in partnership with the Government of Mexico’s Directorate General Aeronautica Civil (DGAC) seeks a systems integrator/vendor that can provide equipment and services that will enhance current airport security infrastructure at EIGHT major airports throughout Mexico. The statement of work defines the objectives and provides specific guidance for the Airport Security Project. In some instances, U. S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA)-qualified equipment is required, and/or there are other specific requirements for maintenance, installation, and/or warranty provisions. Airport Security Pilot Project. The equipment covers passenger screening, carry-on and checked baggage screening, as well as biometric access control (entries/exits) security systems with closed circuit television (CCTV) video security. The chosen contractor will procure the required equipment, install and test it, integrate as required with existing systems, train operators, and provide all warranty services for a two-year period following acceptance of the work, with an optional third year (priced option). The work will be performed at eight major airports in Mexico; to support airport security operations. These Last Point of Departure (LPD) airports form the airport security pilot project (the Project). SEE ATTACHED FOR DETAILED DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK
