- Registration Industry Day Directions BACKGROUND - The Army lacks visibility into the vast amount of data which is dispersed across the Army enterprise. The Army requires a big data management platform and a tailor-able solution that integrates, analyzes, and visualizes information from multiple disparate data sources, both classified and unclassified. The solution should present information in a way that is immediately understandable and actionable for an everyday end-user. Inclusion of a mobile solution is preferred. Solution should be capable of integrating both current and historical structured/unstructured datasets, perform predictive analytics and forecasting. Product should be commercially available now. For this requirement, a pre-solicitation conference will be held starting at 1:00pm on Monday, 11 December 2017 at 5500 21st Street, BLDG 247, Thurman Auditorium (Humphreys Hall) (formerly Army Force Management School), Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. Optional one-on-one Sessions will be at 9531 Hall Rd, (Building 1456, PEO EIS), Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. The attached files include: 1) Introductory slides with the agenda and Draft Scope, 2) Map and directions, 3) Vendor Registration/Sign-up Sheet (RSVP Required). Only four (4) names per Company are permitted to attend the conference and one-on-ones. The attendees to the one-on-ones can be different names. Access to Fort Belvoir in the responsibility of the attendees. See the access requirements on-line: http://www.belvoir.army.mil/allaccess.asp This Pre-Solicitation Conference will serve as an opportunity for Industry to submit questions/comments and receive feedback relative to the Army Leaders' Dashboard (ALD) Draft Scope and High Level Capability Needs in attachment #1. The Opportunity will be executed under the Other Transactions Authority (OTA), Title 10, U.S.C. §2371b(a)(2)(A) Offerors must meet one of the following OTA participation requirements: 1) Be a Non-traditional Defense Contractor performing the entire effort; 2) Have significant participation from non-traditional defense contractor(s); or 3) Provide at least one third cost share 4) Offer exceptional benefits to the Government The conference will have a general presentation in the afternoon on Monday, 11 December followed by optional :30 minute one-on-one (Government - Vendor) sessions with interested and registered vendors beginning immediately following the presentation and continuing until complete or at the schedule end at 11:30am, Thursday, 14 December. In order to register for the event and/or schedule an optional one-on-one session, a vendor MUST submit the spreadsheets attached to this announcement to the POCs listed below and within the spreadsheet file NO LATER THAN 4:00pm Eastern, Thursday, December 7, 2017. No requests for one-on-ones will be accepted after this deadline. This Conference will discuss the draft ALD requirements and the draft Acquisition Approach though the Other Transaction Authority process. Information on the timing and details of the pending solicitation will be released on www.fbo.gov once approved. This is not the venue for presenting marketing materials, or explaining your company's capabilities. The Government will not accept paper copies of any material. The names of the participating companies along any new Government information presented will be published after the conference is concluded.
