- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Park Attendant Services at the Buzzard's Bay Recreation Area of the Cape Cod Canal Project Site (Buzzards Bay, MA). The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the daily operation and maintenance of the recreation area. The recreation area has a comfort station, a picnic shelter, park benches, several trash and recycling receptacles, a large visitor parking lot with over 200 spaces, landscaped areas, and access to the North Canal Service Road. The period of performance for the proposed contract will be 18-APRIL-2018 through 08-OCTOBER-2018. In addition, the Government may exercise two (2) optional years with the same scope of services. The optional terms would include a period of performance from 17-APRIL-2019 through 14-OCTOBER-2019, and from 15-APRIL-2020 through 12-OCTOBER-2020. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $150,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 15-DECEMBER-2017 with an anticipated quote due date of 22-DECEMBER-2017, and an expected award date of 29-DECEMBER-2017. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self-register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11,000,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the New England District.
