- A-E Market Survey USPS A-E Sources Sought Info THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking highly qualified firms that are interested in providing Architectural & Engineering (A-E) professional services in the state(s) identified herein: •a. Colorado •b. Pennsylvania •c. North Carolina •d. South Carolina •e. New York •f. Massachusetts •g. Nevada •h. New Hampshire •i. Nebraska •j. Oregon •k. Vermont The desired services are for facilities-related investigative services, facilities-related design services and construction support services for construction projects located primarily within, but not limited to, a 300 mile radius of the awardee's location. The various construction projects the service could cover include, but are not limited to; •· new construction of Postal Service facilities, leased or owned, on property owned, or controlled by, the Postal Service, •· building renovations at Postal Service-owned facilities and facilities leased and controlled by the Postal Service, •· general repair and alteration, site asphalt and/or concrete repair and replacement, •· masonry repair and replacement, •· other building envelope material repair and replacement, •· structural repairs and replacements, •· building moisture protection, •· interior renovations, •· layout modifications and reconfigurations, •· fire suppression system modifications, •· plumbing system repairs and replacements (interior and exterior), •· roof repair and replacement, •· heating, ventilation and air conditioning repair and replacement, •· closed circuit television systems repair and replacement, •· intrusion detection system repair and replacement, •· electrical system repair and replacement, •· and other facilities-related types of projects not specifically listed herein. This announcement seeks information which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursements will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the Postal Service to make appropriate acquisition planning decisions. The issuance of a solicitation will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. The US Postal Service anticipates issuing a Pre-solicitation notice to qualify applicants before issuing a solicitation for the areas identified above. Multiple awards will be made to provide adequate coverage of all the areas identified in this synopsis. Each task order issued will be firm-fixed price (as negotiated). Selection of A-E firms will be made in accordance with Public Law 92-582 (Brooks Act). The anticipated Pre-solicitation issuance date is on or about 22 December 2017. The official Synopsis providing the Pre-solicitation date will be issued on Federal Business Opportunities www.fbo.gov, inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued. Firm's response to this Synopsis shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information in addition to the attached market survey : •1. Firm's interest in bidding on the solicitation. •2. Firm's Business Size -. •3. Firm's Joint Ventures (existing), including Mentor Protégés and teaming arrangement information is acceptable. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Please see www.SAM.gov for additional information. Each potential source must provide a response to this market survey, addressing their ability to provide architectural/engineering services within one (or more) of the areas specified. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 which has a small business size standard of $15,000,000. Acceptable file formats for the response include Microsoft Word, text, rich text, or Adobe Acrobat. All responses should be sent to Tisha.D.Gandy@usps.gov by 15 December 2017.
