Description

Justification for other than full and open competition The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcement Class Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Wartsila Training Fort Lauderdale Training Center for the following services: 5 day Sulzer ZA 40A advanced hands on engine training for 10 HEALY/HEALY MAT crewmembers. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC HEALY. Vendor will provide all services/parts listed above. NAICS Code #811310 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
