Description
WAGE RATES RFQ RFI SOW SCOPE OF WORK 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment as required for pick up, drop off, and repairs of Gortex jackets, liners and pants. 2. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance the Contractor shall commence work on 02 January 2017. The contractor is required to arrange pickup of the Gortex and transportation to their facility. Necessary repairs shall be satisfactory completed and returned within 15 days of receipt at vendor's facility or in person pickup by vendor from CG. 3. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Contractors will pickup Gortex jackets, liners and/or pants (not to exceed 50 items per pickup) from Sexton Hall at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ. Contractor will be responsible for transportation from and to Sexton Hall. Frequency will NOT exceed one shipment per week but will vary significantly. 2. The contractor will inspect and conduct needed repairs to Gortex jackets, liners and/or pants, including but not limited to malfunctioning zippers, missing buttons, damaged snaps, or ripped Velcro. 3. Contractors will provide a written all-inclusive price for repairs that were conducted. 4. Contractors will then return satisfactory repaired Gortex jackets, liners and/or pants to Sexton Hall at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May no later than 15 days after receipt at vendor's facility or in person pickup by vendor from CG. If vendor is not local, vendor must arrange for transport of items from CG to vendor and return AT VENDORS COST. There is no guarantee that the quantities on the pricing schedule will be met-they are estimates. 5. Specifications, standards, and handbooks. The following specifications, standards, and handbooks form a part of this document to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise specified, repair/replacement work will follow the applicable standard for the item(s) being repaired/replaced and meet or exceed quality and styling of replaced item(s). The color of the replaced part will be matched on the replacement. AFTER AWARD OF THE CONTRACT: After the contract is awarded the Coast Guard POC will contact the contractor to arrange pickup and delivery schedule. 8. ORAL MODIFICATION: No oral statement of any person other than the Contracting Officer shall in any manner or degree, modify or otherwise affect the terms of this contract. 9. WORKMANSHIP: All work shall be satisfactorily accomplished to as near the standard as practical of a new Gortex jacket, liner and pants. A new Gortex jacket, liner and pants will be available for Contractor inspection. 10. PERMITS: The Contractor shall without additional expense to the Government, obtain all appointments, licenses, and permits required for the prosecution of the work. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws. 11. CLEAN UP: N/A 12. WORK OUTSIDE REGULAR HOURS: N/A 13. UPON COMPLETION OF WORK: The COR will provide inspection/acceptance of work. 14. IDENTIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL AND VEHICLES: The Contractor shall provide a detailed list of all employees to the POC five (5) days prior to commencing work. The employee list shall contain the employee's full name, date and place of birth, current address, and last four (4) of SSN. Training Center Cape May Security Officer, will be given a copy of the employee list and grant access for entry. Each Contractor provided vehicle or towed trailer shall show the Contractor's name so that it is clearly visible on the vehicle. A valid state license plate and safety inspection sticker is required. All vehicles operated on Government property shall be maintained in a good state of repair. 15. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS: Abide by all local, state and federal regulations. #
