Description

Construct a Vehicle Operations Facility utilizing economical design and construction methods in accordance with Joint Base Andrews(JBA) Architectural Compatibility to accommodate the mission of the 5,900 square-foot facility. The facility will accommodate the following functions: Vehicle Operations Leadership and Administration, Vehicle Operations Support, Vehicle/Taxi Dispatch, Drivers Ready Room, Break room/Kitchen, Male/Female Locker Room/Showers, Conference/Training Room, Equipment Support, Vehicle Operator Records/Licensing, Driver Evaluation/Testing Classroom and storage area with loading dock. Local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. The project includes site preparations within an existing parking lot, fire suppression, parking lot, landscaping, utilities and connections, and all necessary work.
