- This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Service Area Office-Central Region Contracting Office will take procurement action in this matter. Further, neither the Service Area Office-Central Region Contracting Office nor the Government will be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information. This RFI is issued solely to gather information for planning purposes for VA to make decisions regarding the development of strategies for a Vital Sign Monitors Program which would include but is not limited to: Vital Sign Monitor Systems, Associated Products (i.e. rolling stands, mounting boards), Servers, Connectivity, Project Management, Activation, Installation and Maintenance that will both replace and/or upgrade current systems as well as maintain installed systems in multiple locations in the catchment areas of VISNs 10, 12, and 15. This sources sought is for market research purposes only. A determination on the contract type, mechanism for procuring the supply/services and possible set-aside will not be made by the Government until after the market research has been completed. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this synopsis. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1250 Employees. REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM INTERESTED VENDORS Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. Responses should provide the following information in response to this sources sought announcement: Business name and address; Name of company representative and their business title; Nature of business, pertinent details and experience; Business size as it relates to the NAICS code 334510 (and other recommended NACIS codes as applicable) and associated SBA size standard; If your small business fits into a socioeconomic category, please indicate the socioeconomic category/categories. ***If identifying as a Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), please indicate if your company is certified and registered in Vetbiz; https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ Are you a manufacturer or a distributor? If you are a distributor, which manufacturer do you distribute for? If you are a distributor, do you have a distribution agreement? Please provide distribution agreement. Does the vendor hold a current FSS contract in SIN A-50A Vital Sign Monitors? If so, please state the contract number. If you are a distributor, are the vital sign monitors you distribute on your FSS contract. Does the vendor s FSS Schedule include the installation, training, as well as maintenance of vital sign monitors and associated products. If the vendor s FSS schedule does not include installation, training and/or maintenance, can the vendor provide installation on an open market Contract Line Item Number (CLIN)? Does the vendor offer trade-in s of older vital sign monitor and associated products. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION: This Sources Sought Notice is a required component of a complete and systematic process to evaluate interested parties in order to minimize cost both to potentially interested parties and the Government. Interested sources are also encouraged to submit product literature in response to this notice. Any submission of such product literature or catalog cut sheets will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of proposals submitted in response to any resulting future formal Request for Proposal. Interested vendors should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead including the above information. Please do not provide quotes or bids. Cut sheets/specification sheets may be provided.
