Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price short-term bridge contract for 24 hour Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Service and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) in accordance with local, state, and federal laws for beneficiaries of the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, Michigan, for the time period of January 16, 2018 May 31, 2018. NAICS Code 621910, size standard $11 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mobile Medical Response, Inc. (834 South Washington, Saginaw, Michigan, 48601), for this procurement. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:30 EST on 12/8/2017.
