Description

Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses, or any business size, capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. NAICS Code 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Vendor shall provide the required cart washer container rack, utensil rack, triple bay stainless steel clean-up sink, InnoWave Pro Sonic Irrigator, SCS Load/Unload system (2), universal transfer carts (4), 3-level manifold rack (4), rack return for 444/Synergy, Reliance table top ultrasonic unit with basket, AMSCO 73 reprocessing sink 120, Acu-sinQ endoscope cleaning aid system, Ergostat Prep/Pack deluxe workstations electric, V-Pro 60 120V, 60Hz with cart, V-Pro Max single door cabinet 208-230V, and Evolution 54 transportation carriage and dock on the agreed upon Date of Delivery, currently is March 1, 2018. These items are for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at donna.cooper2@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 2:00pm EST on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. End of Document Title of Project: SPS Activation Steris Non Build Around Equipment Scope of Work: The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of need (SON), except as may otherwise be specified. Vendor shall provide the required cart washer container rack, utensil rack, triple bay stainless steel clean-up sink, InnoWave Pro Sonic Irrigator, SCS Load/Unload system (2), universal transfer carts (4), 3-level manifold rack (4), rack return for 444/Synergy, Reliance table top ultrasonic unit with basket, AMSCO 73 reprocessing sink 120, Acu-sinQ endoscope cleaning aid system, Ergostat Prep/Pack deluxe workstations electric, V-Pro 60 120V, 60Hz with cart, V-Pro Max single door cabinet 208-230V, and Evolution 54 transportation carriage and dock on the agreed upon Date of Delivery. Lebanon facility will have all required drains, electric, steam and build-around equipment ready for the installation of the phase II equipment. Vendor will uncrate said equipment and move to final location in new SPS department. Once equipment is in the new SPS department, the vendor installation team will hook everything up and start the equipment. Background: The Lebanon VA Medical Center has an urgent need for new construction of the medical center s Sterile Processing Service. New requirements of the Sterile Processing Service cannot be met with the existing construction and construction restraints of its current location in the facility. The new SPS must be built around very specific requirements in relation to the sterilizers, washer/disinfectors, water conservation systems for two sterilizers, and reverse osmosis water system. The Steris Build-Around SPS Equipment package is already in Contracting. Performance Period: Delivery shall occur when all required site preparations by facility are ready for equipment installation. This includes steam, air, water, exhaust, waste, electric, and atmospheric vent. Construction timeline expects delivery date to be April June 2018. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order 1. General Requirement Cart Washer Container Rack (1) Must be Steris Brand Name only Must be designed to be used in Vision 1327 Cart and Utensils Washer/Disinfector Overall cart size (W x H x L) is 30 x 70 ¾ x 66 ½ inches Capacity should be up to 5 levels Top level to be 24 ½ x 61 ½ x 12 inches Middle 3 levels must be removable to accommodate items of various sizes and to be 24 ½ x 61 ½ x 9 inches Bottom level to include a removable filter basket to facilitate the loading/unloading of container lids and filter plate 2. General Requirement Utensil Cart (1) Must be Steris Brand Name only Must be designed to be used in Vision 1330L Cart and Utensils Washer/Disinfector Overall cart size must be (W x H x L): 27 ¼ x 58 ½ x 65 ½ inches Rack size must be 15 ¾ x 59-13/16 x 2-11/16 5 ¾ Load capacity each rack must be for 9 bowls (6 dia), 4 basins (14 ½ dia), 4 bedpans (adult size) 3. General Requirement 120 Triple Bay Stainless Steel Clean-up Sink (1) Must have hot and cold mounted deck pre-rinse that provides cleaning flexibility Must have reverse osmosis water faucets that meet manual cleaning standards Must have water and air pistols to quickly rinse and dry Must have etched gallon indicators to aide in accurate mixing of detergents and chemicals Must have adjustable height of sink for ergonomics Must have enzymatic dosing pumps for detergent dosing accuracy 4. General Requirement Sonic Irrigator (1) Must have ability to reprocess up to 60 lumened devices per cycle Must have ability to reprocess up to 65 pounds per cycle to avoid back-up of devices needed Must have sonic activity and irrigation available Must have auto lid-locking and auto detection system to avoid cycles from running when unit is not completely closed Must have integrated lid status indicator lights Must have foot pedal controls Must be thermal disinfection compliant per AAMI Standards 5. General Requirement Load and Unload Conveyor System (2) Must be Steris Brand Name only Must be able to be used in conjunction with Reliance and Vision washers Must provide utmost in ergonomic handling for staff Must have conveyor frame constructed of stainless steel Must be a flexible design Must have simple operations Must have few moving parts Must have barcode initiated cycle start Must provide an ease of cleaning Must provide quiet movement 6.
