- Amended FA873017R0030RFI This is an amendment to FA873017R0030RFI is to incorporate language into Section 1.0 (Description), paragraph 2, regarding funding for further technical assessment, based on response to this RFI. This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). This RFI is issued in order to identify qualified sources for the E-3G Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical System (JTRS) High Power Amplifier (HPA). In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, this RFI is issued soley for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any goods or services whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.
