- Justification NOTICE OF INTENT The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) hereby submits a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis, a fixed-price, one year, contract to Carefusion Solutions, LLC, 3750 Torrey View Court, San Diego, CA 92130. The proposed contract action is for license, maintenance and support of Pyxis equipment. Other than full and open competition is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit detailed information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Bureau's needs. Responses received by December 8, 2017, 9:00pm EST, will be considered. Information received will be considered exclusively for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete is solely the Government's discretion.
