Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis from Lockheed Martin, RDT&E services to include design, development, studies, and technology demonstrations to develop and apply new technology to systems in development or developed and produced by Lockheed Martin including JASSM, LRASM, JAGM, Hellfire, and JSF as well as Line of Sight/Non-Line of Sight (LOS/N-LOS) technologies for seekers, multi-mode seekers, tube-launched UAS, autonomous weapons employment and precision targeting, aircraft/ weapons integration, and similar applications. Tasking will include technology demonstration efforts, product improvement initiatives, technology insertion and transition activities, integration of various warfare systems, mission analysis, mission architecture, participation in Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, and military utility analysis. This procurement is intended to be procured on a sole source basis through Lockheed Martin per FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893617R0051 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about February 2018. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed below no later than 3:00 p.m. PST 12/22/2017. (POCs information auto-populates via table above.)
