- Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z02318FPFC00100 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The United States Coast Guard intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. This requirement is for a cruise vessel to host three (3) convenings of the Foreign Passenger Vessel Examiner Course. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are 483112- Cruise Lines (i.e. deep sea passenger transportation to or from foreign ports). The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This is an unrestricted, full and open acquisition. ::ATTENTION:: This purpose of Amendment 1 is to extend the RFQ submission date. Please find below details regarding the extension: QUESTIONS All questions and/or requests for clarification concerning this solicitation shall be submitted electronically no later than 1200 PM ET Tuesday, 12 December 2017 to the Contracting Officer, Wendy Stevenson at Wendy.Stevenson@uscg.mil and the Contract Specialist, Jazmine Gordon at Jazmine.T.Gordon@uscg.mil. The Government may not answer questions received after this date. Do not include any proprietary data with your questions as all questions and answers will be released to FedBizOpps (FBO) vendors. Please enter "USCG FPVE Course Services Questions - Contractor Name" in the Subject Line. It is our intent to have all answers back to you by 1000 AM ET Wednesday, 13 December, 2017. Each question shall include the referenced document name, specific page, paragraph, and/or clause requiring clarification. Inquires and information received after the established deadline will be answered/addressed if considered essential to the requirement and in the best interest of the Government.
