- Overhaul Info Overhaul Info SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: Paxman Fuel Pump and Injector Overhaul for 110' WPB Vessels 70Z080-18-S-14001B00 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research) and FAR Part 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center anticipates that a requirements contract with firm fixed price delivery orders will be awarded to an authorized dealer of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the overhaul of Paxman Fuel Pumps and Injectors used as part of the Paxman Valenta 16RP200M for the 110' WPB Coast Guard vessels. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, facilities and such other things as are necessary, except as otherwise specified in the solicitation, to overhaul the Pump, Fuel Metering (NSN 2910-99-735-6301) and the Injector Assembly, fuel (NSN 2910-99-891-9977) to original operation condition and test in accordance with the provided solicitation and attached specifications. All overhauling and testing will take place at the contractor's facility. The OEM for this procurement is Woodward, Ltd. The Government DOES NOT possess the necessary drawings, technical specifications, etc., to supply with this requirement. The vendor must be authorized to obtain OEM parts and possess the necessary OEM proprietary data to repair the equipment. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that one firm, fixed-price, requirements contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years will be awarded for this requirement. Estimated quantities per year will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation package will be available for downloading from FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov on or about 15 February 2018. Be advised that this date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to check FedBizOpps regularly for release of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer to the solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 333318 (Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery and Manufacturing), and the size standard for small business is 1000. Submission of Information: If you intend to submit information / documentation on this acquisition, please respond e-mail by 14 November 17 at 11:59 PM EST to: ramona.e.hatfield@uscg.mil The following information / documentation must be included in your response: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a quote for this solicitation, once it is sent out, as a prime contractor, to include: Name of Company, Address, DUNS Number, Point of Contact and Phone Number, Business Size for the applicable NAICS Code and, if applicable, your Small Business Status along with a copy of the Certificate from the Small Business Administration (SBA) certifying the company's small business status; (b) documentation from OEM certifying to be an authorized dealer. (c) evidence of experience in supplying the required items to include: Contract Numbers, Project Titles and Dollar Amounts, Points of Contact and Telephone Numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made for a small business set-aside. The solicitation for this procurement indicating whether this will be pursued as a small business set-aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted at www.fbo.gov.
