Description

The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking information for Market Research purposes only. It is the intent of this research to identify qualified firms capable of performing design-build services for site preparation and installation of a variety of High Technical High Cost (HTHC) medical equipment such as Gamma Cameras, HFO MRI s, PET/CT, Catherization Labs, Nuclear Medicine Equipment & Labs, X-rays, Cystoscopy Systems, Anesthesia Supply Head Booms, Digital Radiology Rooms, as well as the square footage restraints and shielding required for these types of areas located in hospital/medical facilities. In submitting your capabilities, the contractor s response must demonstrate the successful completion of five (5) or more hospital construction projects within the past 10 years that specifically demonstrate the contractor s knowledge and experience with HTHC medical equipment alteration, renovation and installation or be designated as a preferred provider by a medical equipment manufacturer such as G.E Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, Toshiba Medical Systems, Varian Medical Systems, IBA, ELEKTA, BRAINLAB and ACCURAYA ®. This is a NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, but a request for information that will be utilize purposes of determining the best acquisition strategy. This Request For Information (RFI) is specifically seeking information from the following business concerns in order of precedence as follows: SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HubZone businesses, Women-Owned Small Business concerns, Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) and Small Businesses. The NAICS code applicable to the subject procurement is 238290. The small business size standard is $15M. Qualified Firms can submit statements of capability electronically in PDF format to roxie.keese@va.gov. Statements of Capability must demonstrate and provide the information contained in this RFI. In addition, submissions should include the references of the CO and/or COR, or the Primary Point of Contact for each project provided. The Project start and end date, the contract value of the listed project should all be provided in order for the Contracting Officer to make an objective determination for this procurement action. No Telephone Calls Will Be Accepted. Responses must be received by the Contracting Officer No Later Than Close of Business (COB) December 18, 2017.
