Peters VA Medical Center; 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10468-3904 POC: Aleta Jennette mailto:Aleta.jennette@va.gov DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS A SOLE SOURCE Forceps for Da Vinci thru Mandatory Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) Source Contract #VA119-14-D-0001: This is a Special Notice to award commodity Purchase Order for ARO for Davinci Surgical Forceps. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-3(b) (1), the VA network Contracting Office 2, on behalf of the Bronx VA Medical Center (VAMC), intends to issue a sole source award under solicitation 36C24218Q0137 to Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (1266 Kifer Road, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-5206) in the amount of $20,727.30 for above stated supply, for the James J. Peters VA Medical Center Logistics service at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468-3904. The supply is to include all associated parts in this requirement, are proprietary to the OEM, Intuitive Surgical, Inc., as stated by the OEM company letter, no other vendor is authorized to provide parts or services. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the primary Point of Contact listed below. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Aleta.Jennette@va.gov and received by 10:00AM EST on December 14, 2017. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time.
