- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Page Program Uniform Shirts RFQ-2018-028 Submitted: December 7, 2017 Question 1: Must the past performance references be government references, or may they be commercial references? Answer 1: Government and commercial references are both accepted. Question 2: Since the RFQ mentions "nationwide and expedited shipping", I assume shipping charges would be handled separately, correct? (It would be impossible to estimate this type of shipping in the price quote.) Answer 2: Charges may be handled separately. Question 3: Can you give us some idea of the typical order size? For example, you mention 150 shirts for the fall session, would this break out as 5 shirts per order going out to 30 different locations, or something entirely different? Answer 3: Typically, there are five (5) shirts per Page and will be shipped directly to each Page's home. Question 4: Given the specified blend (60% Cotton / 40% Polyester), is it permissible to source material offshore? Answer 4: Yes. Question 5: Is this requirement subject to Berry Amendment/Buy America mandates? Answer 5: Domestic labor and materials are given preference but not required. Question 6: What shade, or range of shades of white are specified? Answer 6: All shirts shall be pure white. No other shade - off-white, beige, etc. - will otherwise meet this requirement. Question 7: Are patterns and marker information available? If so, how may I obtain them? Answer 7: No. Question 8: How many samples will be required? Answer 8: At minimum, one sample each in men's and women's.
