Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS: This will be a fixed price contract with the University of Iowa Department of Psychology to provide necessary labor to conduct work on Veterans Rural Health Resource Center Central Region s project MomMoodBooster (Project 7350) led Dr. Michael O Hara. Estimated amount: $61,500. Anticipated period of performance: 10/1/2017 - 09/30/2018. The University of Iowa Department of Psychology is providing services in support of Dr. O Hara s VA funded project. The University of Iowa Department of Psychology was identified in the funding of this project and the work cannot be conducted without utilizing them. The University of Iowa Department of Psychology has the unique capabilities and expertise combined with the required knowledge to consult on the questions proposed in this project. These are very specialized procedures that only The University of Iowa Department of Psychology has the knowledge to complete. Going outside the University of Iowa Department of Psychology would severely hamper the progress of the project and impact the timeliness of the results. This project is an outgrowth of ongoing work. Market research was not conducted since this is an extension of previously conducted work and no other vendor could meet the specific requirements for this project. The MOU and funding for this project were based upon the involvement of the University of Iowa Department of Psychology. This work cannot be conducted without the expertise of the University of Iowa Department of Psychology.
