Description
Red River Army Depot has an urgent requirement for the following: Aquatic Vegetation Removal Services on Elliott Creek Reservoir, and Caney Creek Reservoir on the Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform aquatic vegetation removal. The purpose of this contract is to reduce the coverage of floating and submerged, aquatic vegetation on the Red River Army Depot's (RRAD) Elliott Creek Reservoir in northeast Texas, in order to facilitate the application of pesticides at a later date. This project will involve removing and piling of all aquatic vegetation that occurs between the depths of 14" to 5' and extending out into the lake to the outer extent of floating vegetation in all areas designated by the US Government (USG). Total area of vegetation to be treated will include approximately 40-60 acres each treatment. The Contractor shall obtain any and all licenses/permits, approvals, notifications, and other documentation necessary to properly conduct the services in this contract, at no additional cost to the United States Government (USG). This Contract will include an Option for a second treatment which may be used as a follow-up on Elliott Creek Reservoir or as an initial treatment on the neighboring Caney Creek Reservoir. Period of Performance, The first treatment shall occur on Elliott Creek Reservoir during May/June after complete coverage of vegetation is in place and as determined by the COR. The second treatment option will occur before 30 September and may be used as a follow up treatment on Elliott Creek Reservoir or an initial treatment on Caney Creek Reservoir. The COR will determine if a second treatment is desired and on which Reservoir it will take place. The period of performance shall expire 30 September 2018. Destination, Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This is a one hundred (100) % Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS is 115113. The size standard is 7.5 million ($7.5) dollars. This solicitation will be issued on an all or none basis. Multiple awards will not be considered. Award of all line items is estimated no later than February 10, 2018. Request for quote W911RQ-18-Q-0009 will issue on or about 1 January 2018 and will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities website: ww.fbo.gov.
