Description

Statement of Work (SOW) SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. No solicitation is available. This notice is released pursuant to FAR 15.201e, Exchanges with Industry. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) is seeking to identify sources to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price contract for twelve (12) abrasive blaster workers and appropriate supervision (see attached tentative Statement of Work for more information). These services shall be performed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. The anticipated periods of performance for the base and option periods are as follows: BASE: March 5, 2018 - June 29, 2018 OPTION 1: June 30, 2018 - September 28, 2018 OPTION 2: September 29, 2018 - December 28, 2018 Interested sources will provide qualified personnel capable of performing the typical tasks identified by trade for the twelve (12) abrasive blasters, as listed in Attachment 1 - Statement of Work. Interested parties must be able to provide qualified personnel for all twelve (12) abrasive blasters. A notional estimate of man-days is also provided in Attachment 1. Interested parties must be able to meet the entire man-day estimate. The NAICS code for this requirement is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing. This sources sought is a market research tool being utilized to determine potential and eligible firms capable of providing these services prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of Request for Quotation (RFQ). Therefore, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. In accordance with FAR 15.202e, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Only responders who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: •1. Meets specifications outlined in the attached document •2. Has an active CAGE Code with the Central Contractor Registration. •3. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List •4. Has a facilities clearance and personnel possessing Department of Defense final-adjudicated Personal Security Clearances at the confidential level Responses should include the following information: •1. Responder's contact information including company name. P.O.C. name, telephone number, fax number, email address, street address, CAGE, and TIN •2. Individual Trade Qualifications and Certifications, including any potential subcontracting arrangements or partnerships •3. Previous Contracts Performed for Similar Scope of Work Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to Christina Ellis at christina.ellis@navy.mil, email address.
