- Description
- Amendment 0001 The purpose of Amendment 0001 to SPRBL1-18-R-0022 is for the following: 1. To change the weighted factors in the Price Evaluation factor of Section M. From: 5831-01-491-9407 Range 1-100 Weight = 10% Range 101-200 Weight = 80% Range 201-300 Weight = 10% To: 5831-01-491-9407 Range 1-100 Weight = 20% Range 101-200 Weight = 60% Range 201-300 Weight = 20% 2. To provide the following clarifications with regard to the solicitation: a) The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) listed on page 2 is an estimate on how many units the Government thinks it will order in a year and the Government provides it for planning purposes only. There is no guarantee that the Government will order 187 units a year and it does not mean that the Government will order all 187 units at once. However, if one looks at the range quantities listed in the ordering years of the solicitation the Government could technically order all 187 units at once. b) The delivery schedule listed on page 13 is the Governments requested delivery schedule for when a delivery order is placed. If a delivery order is for over 45 units then the Government is asking the offeror to deliver 45 units 150 days after receipt of the order (ARO). The offeror will then need to ship 45 units every 30 days until the delivery order is completed. For example, if the Government places an order for 100 units then the offeror would ship the first 45 units 150 days ARO. The offeror would then ship another 45 units 30 days after the first scheduled delivery and the remaining 10 units would be shipped 30 days after the second scheduled delivery. If the delivery order is for 45 units or less the offeror would need to ship that quantity 150 days ARO. c) The Government does not know if future requirements would exceed 187 units a year as there are numerous factors that go into predicting future needs. d) ELIN E001 refers to a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) in the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW was posted to FedBizOpps along with the solicitation and it discusses the CDRL and how it applies. e) The Government can place more than one delivery order per year. The number of delivery orders per year will depend on the requirements at that particular time. 3. Offerors are required to return a signed copy of this amendment with their proposal submission.
