Description
Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other than Full and Open Competition REQUIREMENT:The United States Government intends to award an extension using other than full and open competition for an existing lease that is expiring in Homewood, AL. The Government will consider relocation if economic and other factors determine an alternative space to be advantageous to the Government. Consideration factors include all tenant improvement costs, moving costs, telecommunications relocation costs, and agency special requirements. Delineated Area: To receive consideration, submitted properties must be located within the delineated area which is bounded by the following roads. Properties fronting any of the following roads are considered to be within the delineated area: Beginning at the intersection of Hwy 78 and Dugan Avenue proceed north to Dugan Ave / Daniel Payne Drive. Turn right and continue east on Daniel Payne Drive until it becomes Lewisburg Road. Proceed northeast on Lewisburg Road until 26th Street N and turn right on 26th Street N. Proceed south on 26th Street until 40th Ave N and turn left. Continue on 40th Ave N until it becomes 28th Way N. Merge on to Hwy 31 North. Proceed northeast on Hwy 31 until 47th Ave N. and turn right. Proceed northeast on 47th Ave N until it becomes Erwin Dairy Road. Continue on Erwin Dairy Road until Cedar Street and turn left. Proceed east on Cedar Street until Pinson Valley Pkwy / State Road 79. Turn left on Pinson Valley Pkwy and proceed northeast until Valley Crest Drive and turn right. Continue east on Valley Crest Drive until it becomes Killough Springs Road. Turn right on Killough Springs Road / 6th Street NW and proceed until Five Mile Road and turn left. Proceed east on Five Mile Road until Huffman Road and turn right. Proceed south on Huffman Road to Springville Road and turn left. Proceed on Springville Road until Edwards Lake Road and turn right. Proceed southeast on Edwards Lake Road and merge on to I-459. Continue on I-459 southeast until I-20 and merge on to I-20 East. Take the Hwy 78 exit and turn right on to Hwy 78. Proceed east on Hwy 78 until Ashville Road and turn right on Ashville Road. Proceed on Ashville Road and then veer right on to State Road 119. Proceed southeast on State Road 119 until it dead ends into Hwy 31 and turn right. Proceed north on Hwy 31 until State Road 150 and turn left. Proceed west on State Road 150 until Lakeshore Pkwy and turn right. Proceed northeast on Lakeshore Pkwy until Shannon Wenonah Road / Venice Road and turn left on Venice Road. Proceed north on Venice Road until Rutledge Avenue SW and turn left. Proceed west on Rutledge Ave SW until 40th Street SW and turn right. Proceed on 40th Street SW until it becomes By Williams Sr. Drive. Proceed on By Williams Sr. Drive until it becomes Weibel Drive. Proceed on Weibel Drive until it dead ends at Valley Road and turn right. Continue on Valley Road until it becomes Donald Pkwy. Proceed on Donald Pkwy until Pike Road and veer to the right to stay on Pike Road and proceed northeast until the intersection of 21st Street Ensley and Avenue V. Proceed straight to Avenue V and continue until it becomes Avenue W. Proceed north on Avenue W until you reach the intersection of Hwy 78 and Dugan Avenue. REQUIRED:The Government requires a total of 10,459 usable square feet of space. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM:The lease term will be 1 year. Occupancy is desired no later than January 1, 2018 OWNERS & AGENTS: To submit a location for consideration, contact this office by 12/21/2017. Owners and Exclusive Agents only. Anyone else must provide a letter of authorization from the building owner.
