- SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT GUARD SERVICES THIS NOTICE IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SITE VISIT FOR THE SOON TO BE RELEASED SOLICITATION W911NF-18-R-0002. REFERENCE: Solicitation W911NF-18-R-0002. This solicitation will be released o/a 14 December 2017. WHAT: This announcement is for the requirement for non-personal services for local guard and security services to Blenheim Crescent (BC). The guards will monitor and control vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic entering and exiting the area and ensure only authorized personnel, as prescribed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), are allowed on site. The guards shall provide a proactive presence, act as a deterrent, and focus on identifying and preventing suspicious criminal activity (i.e. damage, sabotage, espionage, theft, unauthorized access, etc.) directed against facilities, grounds, property and personnel before it occurs. The guards shall maintain a constant presence in the designated area. The guards must remain vigilant, alert, and have good situational awareness of BC and 2PC sites. 2PC requires remote monitoring of the facility using Government provided video surveillance in accordance with industry standards. WHEN: Organized site visits will be scheduled for Wednesday, 20 December, 2017, at 09:00 am and 1:00pm GMT. If an offeror would like to participate in one of the two site visits, they must request an invitation to Roger V. Smith; roger.v.smith.civ@mail.mil or Ken Morris; kenneth.l.morris2.civ@mail.mil. The request for invitation to attend the site visit must include the full names of the people attending and the company they are representing. Only three personnel from one company will be allowed to participate in one of the site visits. All requests to attend one of the site visits must be received by Tuesday, December 19, 2017 2:00 pm GMT. Only offerors who request attendance and are confirmed can participate in one of the site visits. Approved participants must bring an approved government ID to their site visit. No cameras will be allowed on base during the site visit and the taking of pictures in or around the base are strictly prohibited. WHERE: The event is being scheduled in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e) as part of continuing market research. The one (1) event will be held at 86-88 Blenheim Crescent (BC), West Ruislip, Middlesex, London HA4 7HB and 2 Providence Court (2PC), Mayfair, London W1K 6PR. WHO: All interested vendors Tour participants are not authorized to take pictures; cell phone usage is not authorized during the tour; closed toe shoes are required; dangling jewelry is not allowable and groups must stay together during the site visit so as not to disrupt the operation.
