Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) has a requirement for heated sample transfer lines with very high recovery rates. Heated sample transfer lines are used with ECBC's thermal desorption instruments. The Government is procuring heated sample transfer lines in 40", 40', 50', 75', 100', 125', and 150' lengths. The lines must meet the following specifications: • Outside diameter of the heated sample transfer line shall not exceed 1.5 inches • 72-96 inch power cord • No greater than 15 Amp; 120V • ¼ inch Swagelok gas interface • Low noise construction • Sample line serial numbers shall be laser etched into both ends of each sample line • Detect low levels of at least 12 military unique compounds such as Bis(2-chloroethyl)sulfide (HD); Dichloro-(2-chlorovinyl) arsine (L); Bis(2-chloroethyl)amine (HN1); Tris(2-chloroethyl) amine (HN3); O-Ethyl-S-(2-diisoproylaminoethyl)methyl phosphonothiolate (VX); Ethyl N,N dimethyl phosphoramidocyanidate (GA Tabun); Isopropyl methylphosphonofluoridate (GB Sarin); Cyclohexyl methyl phosphonofluoridate (GF Cyclosarin); Carbonic Dichloride (CG Phosgene); Trichloronitromethane (PS-Cloropicrin); Cyanogen chloride (CK-Cyanogen chloride); Trichloromethane (CF-Chloroform) with percent recoveries greater than 75%. Potential Offerors shall submit capability statement electronically. All responses shall be prepared using 12 pt. font, 1 inch margins, 8.5" by 11", and shall not exceed two (2) pages in length. The responses shall be compatible with the Microsoft (MS) Office 2013 Suite. Responses shall include Name of Organization, DUNS Number, Address, Point of Contact (POC), POC E-mail Address, and POC Phone Number. 1. Ability to meet all of the requirements as described herein, including a description of the Company's heated sample transfer line design and how this design has been used successfully in the past in the detection of trace amounts of compounds similar to those identified above. 4. Provide a rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for delivery of approximately 25 units of each identified length, per year considering Firm Fixed Price (FFP) when preparing your response. This ROM should reflect five (5) one year ordering periods for a total of 60 months on an IDIQ basis. 5. Provide estimated economic order quantity along with minimum and maximum production capacity for each part description. List cost drivers for delivery, as well as production per unit cost using FFP model. This estimate should reflect five (5) one year ordering periods for a total of 60 months on an IDIQ basis.
