Description

Page 1 of 1 COMBINED SYNOPSIS: This will be a fixed price contract with University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy who will provide necessary labor to conduct work on the VA Office of Rural Health project entitled: Virtual Brown Bag Intervention for Dual Use Rural Veterans led by Carolyn Turvey, PhD. Estimated amount: $12,800. Anticipated period of performance 10/1/2017 9/30/2018. The University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy will provide expertise in patient and provider perspectives regarding medication use and pharmacy service utilization, personal health records, use of technology to facilitate collection of patient medication use experiences, and evaluation of enhanced pharmacy services. This project is an outgrowth of previous work. Market research was not conducted since this is an extension of previous work and no other vendor could meet the specific requirements for this project. The University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy was specifically identified on the Veterans Rural Health Resource Center budget for this project.
