Draft Agenda This Special Notice is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor participation in this industry informational event. The Deputy Commandant, Installations and Logistics, the Surgeon General of the Navy and the Medical Officer of the Marine Corps are hosting the 21st Century Battlefield Medical Care Symposium, 14-15 February 2018, at the Gray Research Center in Quantico, VA. Registered Government, Industry, and Academia are invited to attend this informational event that will cover the lessons learned in Navy and Joint Medicine from Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and from Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). In addition, we will discuss promising new technology that will address how we treat, and move, casualties in a future-distributed operational environment to extend the "Golden Hour". Day One of the event will feature panels in which medical experts from the Navy and other services (including medical providers, logisticians and planners, corpsmen, and medics) discuss battlefield medical lessons learned. Day Two will focus on emerging medical technology with panels on the future of medical care and technology. It will feature futurists, innovative physicians, and medical providers from a variety of fields. Limited tabletop displays are available for those organizations with innovative medical solutions related to patient movement, medical treatment, post-care, pharmaceuticals, etc. Registered guests are invited to attend a no-host Welcome Social on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in the Medical Innovation Exhibit (rooms 164, 165, 166) from 4:00 M to 5:30 PM. A cash bar will be available (cash is the preferred form of payment). The event will take place in the Alfred M. Gray Marine Corps Research Center, Main Auditorium and Rooms 164, 165, 166 located at: 2040 Broadway Street Quantico, VA 22134 There is no registration fee; however, pre-registration is required to attend this event. No walk-ins will be permitted. Attendance will be limited to the first 225 registered attendees. All briefings will be unclassified. Symposium program below.
