AAF SMW UH60A Solicitation Question and Clarification Form AAF SMW UH60A Contract Data Item List (CDRL) AAF SMW UH60A System Specification AAF SMW UH60A Statement of Work AAF SMW UH60A Draft Solicitation Afghanistan Air Force (AAF) and Special Mission Wing (SMW) UH-60A Flight Training Devices (FTDs) Solicitation Number: W900KK-18-R-0004 NOTE: This effort was formerly posted under Solicitation Number W900KK-17-UH60A. SYNOPSIS - Notice of Intent to Solicit the AAF SMW UH-60A Flight Training Device (FTD) effort as a Small Business Set-Aside. The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for the provide two (2) UH-60A FTDs to Kandahar, Afghanistan. The FTDs shall be complimented by the following ancillary support elements, to include; new equipment training (NET), and a spare parts package adequate to cover a two (2) year period. The pending contract will also include two (2) contractor logistical support Options. Each Option will be for one (1) year and will provide operations and maintenance for the FTDs. The Contractor shall deliver the UH-60A FTDs and have them Ready for Training (RFT) within 12 months after Contract Award. The Government team evaluated the capability of industry to successfully execute the subject requirement and, based upon the conclusive findings derived from the responses submitted for the associated Sources Sought (SSN), has concluded that this effort will be solicited as a C-type, set-aside for Small Business. Per this decision, any firm desiring to participate as a prime contractor in this solicitation must be a recognized Small Business under NAICS Code 336411, Aircraft Manufacturing, in accordance with FAR 19.301. For those interested Small Businesses, please familiarize yourself, if you have not already, with the Limitations on subcontracting requirements under FAR 52.219-14. ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: Approximately $13.8M (USD). RESPONSE REQUESTED: The Government has provided, as part of this announcement, copies of its draft Solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW) and System Specification document. Interested parties are requested to review this documentation and provide comments via the provided UH-60A Question/Clarification Form. Responses are due by 9 January 2018, no later than 1400 hours Eastern Standard Time (EST) to the Army Contracting Command, Orlando (ACC-ORL) points of contact (POC), Marjorie Saurel-Cook and Matt Sanders, via the email addresses provided below. The Government reserves the right to publically post the questions and answers resultant from this request. As such, interested parties are encouraged not to include information considered proprietery in nature.
