- Market Survey This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. All of the following information is approximate and may be altered in the actual solicitation. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. DLA Land and Maritime anticipates issuing a solicitation in the near future for approximately 12 EA of NSN 1710-00-872-6927. CAI AIRCRAFT LAUNCH RECOVERY EQUIPMENT (ALRE) Item will be purchased IAW the following: Capy Machine Shop Inc. (0BVP9) Precision Custom Components, LLC (1P555) Duhadaway Tool and Die Shop, Inc. (1V517) Entwistle Company, The (20722) Curtiss-Wright Flow Control (95169) Penn State Tool Die Corporation (58974) Wellman Dynamics Machining (6JRD9) P/N: 506314-1 The anticipated packaging requirements are as follows: PKGING DATA - MIL-STD-2073-1D, 15 DEC 1999 QUP: 001 PRES MTHD: 10 CLNG/DRY: 1 PRESV MAT: 00 WRAP MAT: EA CUSH/DUNN MAT: JC CUSH/DUNN THKNESS: H UNIT CONT: E5 OPI: M PACK CODE: U MARKING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-129. SPECIAL MARKING CODE: ZZ -ZZ Special Requirements PALLETIZATION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MD00100452 REV B DATED JULY 01, 2008 EACH UNIT PACKAGE WILL BE MARKED WITH THE NSN, CONTRACT NUMBER, LOT NUMBER, CONTRACTOR CAGE CODE, MANUFACTURER CAGE CODE, AND PART NUMBER. Material is anticipated to be shipped to: W25G1U W1A8 DLA DISTRIBUTION DDSP NEW CUMBERLAND FACILITY 2001 NORMANDY DRIVE DOOR 113 TO 134 NEW CUMBERLAND PA 17070-5002 US For transportation assistance see DLAD 52.247-9034. The solicitation is anticipated to require FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance of the supplies and packaging at Origin.
