- The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a construction requirement at Cape Cod National Seashore in Wellfleet, MA. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to install Crash bars (panic exit device, panic bar, or push bar) at Province Lands Visitor Center ( PLVC) and the Park Head Quarters (HQ) and convert two existing restroom entrances to ADA compliant automatic entrances at the PLVC. A detailed Statement of Work and specification will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER:. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued on or about 1/12/18 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by earl February. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Barnstable County, Massachusetts will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, and the size standard is $15 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
