- Intent to Sole/Single Source The VA Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 submits a notice of intent to award a single-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Hocoma Inc. for annual preventive maintenances services on Lokomat-Pro LS 0200 Neuro Robotics models. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) requires a contractor to provide annual on-site preventive maintenance inspection services on the neurological gait therapy robotics equipment Lokomat Pro LS0200 to assist patients with severe disabilities and need locomotion therapy. Service: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, supplies, and supervision to perform on-site preventive maintenance inspection services on Hocoma Lokomat-Pro equipment to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Scope: The Contractor shall provide the following, but not limited to: Preventive maintenance inspections for the Lokomat Pro robotics model LS0200, anticipated to be scheduled in with the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR). Vendor shall check-in with the Police Service and with the COR before proceeding to the job site. Vendor shall also check-out with the COR and Police Service before leaving the job site. Vendor to service this equipment must have gone through Hocoma Lokomat-Pro service training. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Hardware parts will be the only approved parts to be used and will be included in support to this agreement. Vendor is not responsible for peripherals such as computer, printer, pipettes, and software. Vendor will provide unlimited assistance, 24 hours a day for Technical Assistance. Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm Period of Performance: Base Year: January 8, 2018 to December 31, 2018 Option Year 1: January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 Option Year 2: January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 Option Year 3: January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 Option Year 4: January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 This single-source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from acquiring these services on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for the aforementioned requirement based on the application of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the action proposed in this announcement. The determination not to compete this proposed contact action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
