SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: Refuse & Recycling Collection - Parkersburg, West Virginia THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY SERVICES, NOR IS IT THE INTENT OF THE ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND- NEW JERSEY TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOUGHT. 1. Contract Information: The Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC- NJ) is seeking preliminary marketing information, from capable and reliable sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources capable of performing the requirements established below. PLEASE BE ADVISED a set-aside has not yet been determined for this requirement and will depend upon the resultant information obtained from this Sources Sought Notice. Once the type of set-aside has been determined it will be identified in the solicitation. This is a single requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) classified for this effort is 562111: Solid Waste Collection. The ACC-NJ anticipates releasing a solicitation announcement, to be published in the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov), on or about 17 January 2017. The solicitation will consist of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a period of performance of a12 month base year, plus four 12 month option years. 2. Project Scope: Refuse & Recycling Collection Services: See attached site map Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to dispose of refuse and recyclables (if included at the service location) in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Pricing shall be inclusive of all fuel surcharges, any fees associated with Growing Greener Act, and any other fees or surcharges that may be associated with Refuse and Recycling Collection Services. Containers shall be placed as directed by the onsite facility coordinator and/or Regional Facility Operational Specialist (RFOS). Facility Address: PFC Reynolds USARC, 4603 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg WV 26101-1295 Dumpsters Needed: One (1) each - 4 Cubic Yard Dumpster & One (1) each - 2 Cubic Yard Service: 1 times weekly for both dumpsters 3. Submission Requirements: All interested vendors shall submit a Capability Statement and email to deborah.e.terrell.civ@mail.mil Submission shall be received by 11:30 AM, Eastern Standard Time, 10 January 2017 and shall not exceed five (5) one-sided, 8-1/2 x 11 pages. This notice is only for market research purposes. This Sources Sought Announcement does not constitute a request for proposal nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this notice. All data received in response to this sources sought notice marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the U.S. Government. No hard-copy or facsimile submissions will be accepted. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, etc) will be considered.
