- CABLE, PORTABLE POWER, 500 MCM, SINGLE CONDUCTOR, 90 DEG. CENTIGRADE, 2000 VOLT, BLACK JACKET, TYPE W, U.L. OR CSA LISTED & LABELED, 600 FT REELS. CABLE MUST BE EMBOSSED WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS - MANUFACTURER, CABLE SIZE (AWG OR KCMIL), TEMPERATURE RATING. VOLTAGE RATING, TYPE & UL OR CSA DESIGNATION. **BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO COLEMAN P/N 830214, OR HOUSTON WIRE & CABLE P/N HW2565001, OR AMERCABLE P/N 37-401-500, OR GENERAL CABLE P/N 83500.99.01 DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure SEVEN THOUSANDS FIVE HUNDREDS (7500) FEET PORTABLE POWER CABLE manufactured in accordance with material specifications. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued AS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET A-SIDE using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The applicable NAICS Code is 331318. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for FOB Destination delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Immediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, WA. Delivery is required on or before 04/30/2018. Offers wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-18-Q- 0914 It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 01/11/2018. The closing date of the solicitation will be on or around 30 January 2018, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
