The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a minimum quantity of 50 each up to a maximum quantity of 210 each of a Hanger and Piston, NSN: 4810-01-288-3705, Part Number: 2685595 applicable to the CG Kiowa weapon system. Forecasted/estimated quantities: Year 1: 50 each Year 2: 40each Year 3: 40 each Year 4: 40 each Year 5: 40each Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 50 each, 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5002. This item is limited in competition to TRIUMPH ACTUACTION, cage code 1SR57. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
