Description

Redacted J&A Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Procurement Code 410, San Diego, CA, intends to solicit and award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price contract for the vehicle hinge ramp seals (2) for the USS ANCHORAGE to Jared LLC/PaR Marine Services LLC (Jared), 3000 Sidney Lanier Drive, Brunswick, Georgia 31525. The ramp seals are "direct replacements" for existing parts and must come from the same OEM. Jared LLC/PaR Marine Services LLC (Jared) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the ramp seals. Jared doesn't have authorized distributors and their parts must be purchased directly from them. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government will solicit and negotiate with only one source per 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy the requirement. This notice is NOT a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to request proposals was made and responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government
