- 1.0 Classification Code Z-Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property 2.0 NAICS Code 811310 3.0 Contracting Office Address Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) 1250 10th Street, Suite 4600 Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374 4.0 Synopsis This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is issued to assist SSP in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. 5.0 Purpose In accordance with FAR Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of managing and performing capital maintenance of equipment and facilities at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Bacchus located in Magna, Utah in support of the Trident II (D5) Missile Program. Orbital ATK Launch Systems is the contractor that has custody of the property and use of the facilities where the work will be performed. SSP is seeking capability statements which identify vendor current capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified in Section 6. Potential sources must have a security clearance, and have demonstrated functional and technical expertise to execute the maintenance requirements with personnel who have first-hand experience in the performance of capital maintenance of equipment and facilities similar to those located at NIROP Bacchus. 6.0 Description of Requirements SSP requires contractor support to accomplish all of the various capital maintenance projects at the NIROP Bacchus facility located in Magna, Utah. The required capital maintenance projects will be performed by technical and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) in capital maintenance. Updated facility drawings must also be provided with the completion of each project. The capital maintenance will consist of the following projects: Resurface Roads and Parking Areas   Electrical Repairs/Upgrades o Electrical Distribution Replacements o Interior Lighting Installation/Replacement o PEG bag transfer machine o Crane Pendant Controls Replacement o Motor Control Center (MCC) Replacement o HMX Dryer Feed Overload Prevention System Building/Structural Repairs o Roof Replacement/Repairs o Hypalon Earth Covers o Replace Roll-up Doors, 12' x 14' and 12' x 12' Utility Repairs/Upgrades o Valve Vaults and Replacement Valves o Water Tower Replacement - NIROP Water System o Storm Drainage Refurbishment o Evaporative Cooling Systems o HVAC Replacement o Convert Deluge System to WPS Fire Protection o DX Cooling o Emergency Slide Replacement o Septic System Refurbishment o Bury conduit within 50' of ordnance buildings 7.0 Period of Performance The Period of Performance is estimated to be 36 months. 8.0 Place of Performance Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Bacchus Magna, Utah   9.0 Capability Package Submittal Requirements Interested sources should submit a capability package in Microsoft Word (Office compatible format) or PDF format using Times New Roman 12 point font and 1" margins.
