- AMENDMENT 0002 ****AMENDMENT*** THE PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS BEING AMENDED TO ATTACHED AMENDMENT 0002 TO THIS NOTICE. AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION SPE4A8-18-Q-00260002 IS ATTACHED. THE AMENDMENT CORRECTS POC DATA & PURCHASE DESCRIPTION CHANGE. ****AMENDMENT*** THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS BEING AMENDED TO ATTACH SOLICITATION SPE4A8-18-Q-0026 TO THIS NOTICE. AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION 0001 IS ALSO ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE. A Site Visit information is included in the solicitation scheduled for January 17, 2018. The DLA -Aviation-VICA, Industrial Plant Equipment Division, Richmond, VA, intends to procure three new Vertical Machining Centers in accordance with the Purchase Description, VIBB-16-40-1000. The purchase will include installation, Training, Technical Data Manuals, IUID Tags and Shipping. The purchase requirement will be solicited as unrestricted as to business size. FAR 52.225-5 Trade Agreements applies. The anticipated award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. The award shall be based on technical acceptability, price and past performance. The requested performance is 180 days after receipt of order. FOB at Destination. Inspection is at Origin with Final Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. A site visit will be performed. The dates of the site visit will be included in the Request For Proposal (RFP). This synopsis serves to meet the requirements to post solicitations as the RFP. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about December 18, 2018. The anticipated closing date is January 23, 2018. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted. The solicitation will be attached to this pre-solicitation and may be available on DiBBs.
