- Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office, in support of the DoDEA-Pacific Student Transportation Security, is conducting market research to identify potential responsible sources capable of providing bus security attendant services on daily commute school buses in Korea. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors' responses to this RFI. The Government will not accept any proposals or quotes based on this notice. The Student Transportation requirement includes (buses, drivers, and dispatchers) to support student commuting requirements for the DoDEA Pacific Korea West District. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, resources, materials, supervision, training and other items and services necessary to perform these requirements. Projected period of performance is 1 August 2018 through 31 July 2019 with four one-year optional periods. This acquisition will be solicited as a full and open competitive procurement using the procedures in FAR Part 12 - Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5. If your firm is interested, capable and qualified to provide these services, please submit written information supporting this capability. Capability statements shall consist of no more than 5 pages and include a cover page with the company's name, business mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), and Commercial And Government Entity/NATO Code (CAGE/NCAGE).
