- SOLICITATION NUMBER: W56HZV-17-R-0026 This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS), NSN: 1005-01-534-2841, PN: 13033050. The United States Army Contracting Command-Warren has a requirement for the overhaul of the M110 Semi-automatic Sniper System (SASS). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for overhaul services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals before the closing date of this solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to negotiate and award contract to Knight's Armaments - CAGE# 1S002. Please review the RFP and its attachments for details.
