- SF18 - N0017818Q0027 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017818Q0027 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to Silicon Power Corporation, 280 Great Valley Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355-1313, a quantity of 500 Semiconductor Discharge Switches, C-Pak with Part # CCSCP32N15 as noted in the attached SF18 Request for Quotations document; 150 units to ship immediately after production and the additional 350 units to ship in March 2018. The CCSCP32N15 is an advanced high-voltage current-controlled solid state (CSS) thyristor packaged in a C-Pak custom surface mount package and are critical components in system designs and technology development efforts at NSWCDD. Utilizing a different model or manufacturer's component would require significant redesign, as well as redundant testing and evaluation, verification and validation. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 26 January 2018, no later than 3:00 p.m. CDT with an anticipated award date by 5 February 2018.
